Very little is known about the Purists. They split from the Parliamentarians some years back, and took with them a number of military personnel and equipment. They disallow all corrupted by radio-arcanum, and all from Domus, or ‘infected’ by them. Skirmishes between them and the Traditionalists, and brief interceptions by the Erudites, have managed to reveal that they have carved out an area around the R.A.F. Museum, and maintain their border with ruthless force. They will not be attending the Summit as player characters, but Traditionalist characters will likely have some opinion, whether they sympathise with the Purist cause of ridding Earth of what destroyed it, whether they feel betrayed, or disgusted, or, perhaps, if they have friends, family, or partners that either joined the Purists, or died in the initial skirmish.

Approach to Magic
There appears to be something of a low to zero tolerance of magic. While they are unwilling to share much, they very much seem to view it as similar to highly dangerous radioactive materials: powerful, dangerous, and something only to be used by highly trained professionals and only if there is no other option. Their resourcefulness means there is almost always another option.
Look and Feel
The Purists tend to wear heavy protective raincoats and gas-masks when travelling to protect from arcanoradiation. Underneath, their dress tends to fall under traditional looks with a more practical edge showing their hard living.

Known Purists
Anna Kowalczyk AKA the First Minister
The last time the United Kingdom had an election, Anna was voted in by a landslide. It has been a long time since then. Now she leads the Purists to whatever mysterious ends they seek.

General Thomas Beckton
Previously a Colonel of the Traditionalist armed forces, Beckton defected along with a good chunk of the military during the attempted Purist coup. Now he leads all the Purist military matters and has the First Minister’s ear.

Doctor Sarah Laxley
Once a researcher for the New Avalon Foundation, Laxley vanish after the Purist coup reappearing at the Second Summit as the First Minister’s personal doctor. She appears to see those with magic as pitifully afflicted and seems oh so keen to help them. Whether they wish to be helped or not.

Colonel Luthor Hayles
Previously Captain Hayles, he remained loyal to Beckton during and after the attempted coup following Beckton to the Purists. After being outed by the Delegates as a Warlock to his superiors, he has been reassigned to a special division, the details of which are unknown.
